Team Learning 4 Life is OFF!!!!

An amazing day in Oceanside to start our long trek across the United States.  We awoke to a foggy morning, but the sun quickly made it's appearance.  The rush of adrenaline could be felt in every hotel room and in all the motorhomes.  Jim and Doug gathered the team, giving us a few reminders and then we did the most important......bowed our heads to our Lord, Brenna took the lead and asked the Lord to bless our mission.  Having Brenna here in Oceanside and knowing she will be there to greet us in Annapolis helps us never forget why we began this journey.
This is when the kleenex comes out,
there is nothing better than seeing a young man
giving his dad a big bear hug!!!  Tyler was so
proud of his dad.......the feelings were mutual!
Brenna, Mattea and Terra cheering on
their dads (their heroes)

We Wilcox girls are so proud of our
athlete, dad/husband!  We love you babe!

Carl is out the shoot first!  Hmmm
I think he started before they said "go!"

Captain Doug couldn't have been happier......he was on top of the world!  Check out that smile!

Some of us are supposed to be sleeping and ready to start driving/riding this evening. The next couple of days are hard trying to adjust to the different sleep cycles.   For those of you who aren't familiar with how this works, let me try and give you a glimpse. We are on a 6 hour rotation, so for example I am in the cooking motorhome for 6 hours, then it is my 6 hour sleep cycle and then into the "follow vehicle" I go for 6 hours.......then it starts all over again!  Every evening about 6:30p.m. you can go to our website and view a "live" webcast!  Keep us in your prayers!  Thanks for all your love and support!
